In September 2016, Daedong Industrial, which is the organizer, and participating companies held a kick-off meeting at Daedong Industrial's Daegu factory for the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's '1-ton light commercial electric vehicle technology development project'. The goal is to develop a light commercial electric truck with a single charging distance of 250 km, a maximum speed of 120 km per hour, and a loading capacity of 1 ton, and Vision Digitech has participated as a wiring harness developer.
